Jewels of Epilepsy
Polished. Precious. Destined to shine.
Jewels are polished, precious stones or gems — and that's what we are. Not defined by symptoms, but by our value, our voice and our light.
More than a name — a declaration
The Jewels of Epilepsy are our ambassadors: people living with epilepsy, caregivers and allies who raise awareness — especially within the African American community — and advocate for accommodations and training in schools, workplaces and institutions.
Jewels lead panel discussions, walk in epilepsy walks, speak in classrooms and boardrooms, and stand beside every person who has ever been told what they couldn't do.
“Your diagnosis does not define your destiny. You are a jewel — strong, resilient, and destined to shine.”

LaKesha Floyd
Jewel Ambassador
