You are more than a diagnosis. You are a jewel.
A safe, supportive and empowering home for the epilepsy community. We exist so that everyone affected by epilepsy can thrive — not just survive — through education, inspiration and advocacy.
Advocacy Victory
Bill #935 passed the South Carolina House.
Years of education, outreach and testimony — led by our founder — helped advance legislation directing the SC Department of Public Health to create and distribute official seizure first-aid materials for state workplaces.

We share knowledge to create understanding — from seizure first aid certification to the latest in treatment and care.
Empowering
We uplift and support those on their journey, because no one should navigate epilepsy alone.

Meet Our Founder
Doctors said she wouldn't graduate. She built a movement instead.
At six years old, a classroom accident left pencil lead lodged in JenVon Cherry's left frontal lobe — and epilepsy in her life forever. Doctors predicted she would never finish high school. She earned her degree, spent 20 years in education, testified at the State House, and founded Epitome of Epilepsy to make sure no one in Charleston's communities of color faces epilepsy alone.
